Liquid compounding and filtration for sterile line vessels

liquid compounding line include jacketed pressurised manufacturing vessel, holding vessel, filtration system, transferrig pump. This equipment is used for liquid preparation, filtration and holding for liquid both aqueous and non aqueous solution, suspension and emulsion.

The purpose of manufacturing vessel is to manufacture bulk solution/Suspension/Emulsion. filtration unit is for filtration of non-sterile bulk solution and holding vessel is for storage of filtrate solution.

 The compounding vessel will be equipped with bottom mounted homogenizer and mixer. Solution sample can be collected for potency checking through sampling port.
 Heating & cooling shall be through steam & chilled water respectively.
 Filtration will be done after completion of formulation & the sterile filtrate is collected to the holding vessel through nitrogen pressure. Pressure and related arrangement will allow the minimum loss/leftover in the line of solution during filtration.
 The filtration unit is connected with manufacturing vessel and holding vessel through pipe line.
 The holding vessel is pressurized vessel and equipped with bottom mounted mixer. 
 There is sampling port in the holding vessel to collect sample for analysis.
