What are the precautions for using a homogeneous emulsifier?

I. Homogeneous Emulsifier is equipment used in industrial and laboratory settings. Common issues include the following:

  • Difficulty starting or failure to start: Possible causes include power supply failure, motor damage, circuit malfunction, etc.

  • Abnormal noises during operation: Possible causes include bearing damage, loose drive belt, gear wear, etc.

  • Overheating during operation: Possible causes include cooling system failure, insufficient lubricant, etc.

  • Poor emulsification effect: Possible causes include damaged impeller, inappropriate rotational speed, improper material-to-liquid ratio, etc.

For the above issues, corresponding solutions can be adopted. If problems cannot be resolved, it is recommended to contact the equipment manufacturer for technical support. II. The capacity of a homogeneous emulsifier typically ranges from 50L to 1000L, depending on the model and specifications of the equipment.

When selecting a homogeneous emulsifier, the appropriate capacity should be determined based on actual production needs.

If large quantities of materials need to be processed, a high-capacity equipment can be chosen; if the production scale is small, a low-capacity equipment can be selected.

At the same time, factors such as the equipment's performance, stability, and safety should also be considered to ensure that it can meet production requirements.

III. When cleaning the homogeneous emulsifier, first disconnect the equipment power supply and remove any residues on the equipment.

Use a cloth dipped in drinking water to wipe the surface of the equipment until clean, then use a mercurized towel dipped in purified water to clean the equipment surface again.

After cleaning the tank with drinking water, rinse it again with purified water.

Additionally, due to the high rotational speed of the emulsifier head, it should not be operated in an empty tank to avoid localized heating that may affect the sealing integrity.

IV. The following points should be noted when using a homogeneous emulsifier:

  • Cleaning: Clean the inside of the equipment promptly after use to avoid corrosion or blockages caused by residues. During cleaning, avoid using metal brushes or sharp objects to clean the inside of the equipment to prevent scratching the machine surface.

  • Lubricant check: Check the quantity and quality of the lubricant weekly. If any abnormalities are found, replace the lubricant promptly to avoid equipment failure due to insufficient lubrication.

  • Seal maintenance: Regularly inspect and replace the seals inside the homogeneous emulsifier. If the seals are found to be aged or worn, they should be replaced promptly.

  • Filter screen cleaning: Clean the filter screen inside the equipment regularly to prevent impurities from clogging the filter, which could affect the homogenization and emulsification effect. It is recommended to clean the filter screen once a week.

  • Motor inspection: Regularly check whether the motor is operating normally, such as whether there are abnormal noises or overheating. If any abnormalities are found, repairs or replacements should be carried out promptly.

  • Static electricity prevention: Inside the homogeneous emulsifier, static electricity may be generated due to the flow and friction of liquids and semi-solid materials. To prevent the impact of static electricity on the equipment, use conductive media that meet the requirements and keep the equipment surface dry and clean.

  • Safe operation: When using the homogeneous emulsifier, relevant safety operating procedures must be followed, and appropriate safety equipment should be worn to ensure personal safety.
