The new council of the Guangdong Manufacturing Industry Association was elected and the Standardization Work Committee was officially established

The Guangdong Manufacturing Industry Association's change of leadership and the celebration of its tenth anniversary was successfully held in Guangzhou on June 1, 2023. Chen Kaixuan, chairman of Guangzhou Libai Group Co., Ltd., was elected as the new council president of the Guangdong Manufacturing Industry Association (the third term).

The new council, with the glorious mission of "leading the manufacturing industry", actively performs its duties and, in order to promote the high-quality development of manufacturing industry, established the Guangdong Manufacturing Industry Association Standardization Work Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Standardization Committee) on June 29, 2023. Vice President Zhong Riqiang of the Guangdong Manufacturing Industry Association actively participated in the establishment of the Standardization Committee and was employed as the first Deputy Director of the Standardization Work Committee of the Guangdong Manufacturing Industry Association.

The Standardization Working Committee of Guangdong Provincial Manufacturing Industry Association is established in accordance with the "Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China", "Implementing Regulations of the Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China", "Regulations on the Management of Group Standards" and relevant national standardization regulations, combined with the actual situation of Guangdong's manufacturing industry. It mainly undertakes the management responsibilities of the group standards of the provincial manufacturing industry, formulates group standards, responds quickly to the needs of innovation and market for standards, fills the gaps in existing standards, promotes the implementation through the way of self-discipline convention, and if the implementation effect is good and meets the requirements for the formulation of national or industry standards, it actively applies to the relevant departments to transform into national or industry standards.
