After cleaning, the spices enter the drying and dehydration process, which is a key link to reduce moisture content and extend product shelf life. Modern production lines adopt intelligent low-to-medium temperature dehydration technology, avoiding high-temperature baking that would destroy the volatile aromatic substances and active nutrients of spices such as gingerols. The temperature and drying time are precisely adjusted according to the characteristics of different spices, ensuring uniform moisture removal inside and outside the materials. Fully dried spices maintain stable flavor and texture, laying a foundation for subsequent fine processing and long-term storage.
Grinding and crushing are the core procedures of spice processing, determining the fineness and uniformity of finished products. The production line is equipped with multi-stage grinding equipment including pre-crushers, hammer mills and air classifying mills. Large-volume hard spices such as cinnamon and bay leaves are first pre-crushed into uniform coarse particles to facilitate fine grinding. Then the coarse materials are sent to the fine grinding unit for secondary crushing to achieve ultra-fine powder processing. To ensure product consistency, the grinding system is matched with a professional cooling device to avoid heat generation during grinding from deteriorating spice flavor. After grinding, the spice powder passes through vibratory sieves and air classifiers for precision grading, screening out standard powder particles of 60 to 100 meshes. Oversized particles are automatically recycled to the grinding equipment for reprocessing, realizing zero waste of raw materials.
Sterilization and blending processes further improve the safety and diversity of spice products. The integrated sterilization system adopts ultraviolet or low-temperature steam sterilization technology, which efficiently kills harmful bacteria, mold and microorganisms in spice powder without damaging the original flavor and nutritional components of spices. For compound spices and mixed seasonings, automatic horizontal mixing equipment is used to blend multiple single spice powders in precise proportions. The uniform mixing technology ensures consistent flavor of each batch of products, meeting the customized production needs of different food processing scenarios.
The final stage of the production line is automatic metering and packaging. The finished spice products are quantitatively weighed by intelligent auger filling equipment, and then automatically filled, sealed and coded through packaging machines. The production line supports multiple packaging specifications ranging from small retail packages of 50g to large industrial bulk packages of 5kg, and can adapt to moisture-proof pouches, glass jars, metal tins and various packaging forms. The fully enclosed automatic packaging process effectively prevents secondary pollution, isolates moisture and air, and further guarantees the stability and shelf life of finished spices.
